submeet.it (“we”, “us”) is a free group scheduling tool that works without any account or sign-up. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you create or join an event, how we use cookies and advertising, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
submeet.it does not require you to register, and we do not ask for an email address, phone number, or any government identifier. The only information we process is what you type into an event:
- Event details — the event title, the candidate dates, and the time range you choose when creating an event.
- Participant data — the display name you enter when joining, the availability (the time slots you mark as busy or free), and an optional password if you choose to set one so you can edit your response later.
This data is stored on our database provider, Supabase, so that everyone with the event link can see the combined availability. A display name can be anything you like — it does not need to be your real name.
Cookies and Advertising
We use third-party advertising to keep submeet.it free. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info. For more information, see Google’s advertising policies.
Analytics and Local Storage
We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and performance. These collect anonymized usage data and do not identify you personally.
We store a single preference in your browser’s local storage — your chosen language — so the site remembers it on your next visit. This never leaves your device.
Data Retention and Deletion
Event and availability data is retained for as long as the event remains in use. If you would like an event or your response removed, contact us at the email below and we will delete it.
Children’s Privacy
submeet.it is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
